New Developments

Trader Joe’s coming to the Tomoka Town Center
Well, after enough begging we are FINALLY getting a much anticipated Trader Joe’s. We were overdue for a store that offers affordability and healthy options in one place. Many customers are so loyal that they would make the weekend trek out out Orlando for grocery shopping. In other states these stores are a staple of the community and bring good job opportunities to locals as well. If you haven’t been to one yet, I highly recommend checking this one out. It will be located in the Tomoka Town Center. As a local, we are always concerned about traffic implications, and the town center isn’t known for being congestion free. And if we are able to influence new businesses coming to our area can we also influence traffic regulations?
Will Trader Joe's add to the traffic issue in the town center? |

Starry Night Gallery located at 230 South Beach Street
The downtown beach street has what you’re looking for when it comes to the arts. With and independent theater and now a new art gallery. The Starry Night Gallery doesn’t just feature works to view and purchase, but also has community events such as art walks, talks, and local festivals. Check out the events page to see if there are any workshops or classes that peak your interest. They also offer classes for beginners! It’s vital for a city to have a thriving arts community, so show some support and check it out when you are out on the town. And if you’re a local artist see if this is the place to showcase your work.

Real Estate Corner

447 Seaview Avenue Daytona Beach
“This was the highest selling home this past week. Sold at a price of $668,972 after being listed at $729,000. This is a good example of what we are currently seeing in the market right now across the board. We have a lot of inventory and are seeing homes sell for a considerable amount under asking price. Buyers have more options which means, they have more negotiating power when in comes to purchases” Paul Pratt with Simply Real Estate
