Sip n Paint

A Sip n Paint event is held at Starry Night Gallery the last Friday of the month at 6pm. Don’t worry if you’re not an artist, it’s beginner friendly. The instructions are easy to follow (even with sipping on a glass of wine). Fun to get a group of friends to check it out to add some variety to the weekend shenanigans.

The gallery is new to town and they have a multitude of events on the daily as well. Next time you’re in downtown Daytona stop in and say hi. Here’s a calendar of their events if you end up missing out on Friday nights Sip n Paint. Make sure you are following them on Facebook to stay up to date with new art they have featured and some great photos as well.

Surf x Coffee

I wouldn’t have guessed how well a coffee shop and a surf shop go together. Mind you, they converted and old bank to make this space possible. Whether you just want to get some work done and drink local roasted Bold Bean Coffee or are looking to add a new surf board to your collection, Happy Co has got what you need. I ended up going with the shakedown street bagel and the mustache man coffee. Both of which were amazing.

I always try to find cool locally owned spots to make sure that they get the attention they deserve. In addition to their cool space and great coffee/food they have events and raffles to win surfboards! The owner told me they are more active on Instagram so give them a follow here.

This is one of the favorite sections of the newsletter. Every week I receive pet photo submissions and have to pick a winner and it’s not easy. Send in your photos (by replying to this email) for a chance to have your pet featured next week!

This Georgia boy moved here just three years ago, and has already adapted quickly to the beach life. His long hard days consist of golf cart rides, ice cream pup cups, and watching the waves roll in. It’s official Mr. Jack is a local now.
