Arepita Beach located at 174 N Beach St
Venezuelan Cuisine
This week was my first time stopping in to Arepita Beach and I was amazed at the food. A friend of mine mentioned some amazing Venezuelan food (which I’ve never had before) and I had to investigate further. I ended up going with the recommended Arepa “The Cabimera” and it was amazing. It’s kinda of like an english muffin made from corn into a sandwich, I modified mine to have chicken, avocado, beans and plantains inside. Food aside, there is a staircase that leads to their own rooftop. Best view on Beach St hands down. No other places have a view of the water like this. I guess it has been hidden in plain site so if you are out and about check them out!
Business Spotlight

Captain Cal and the crew having a time
Mid spring and the weather is warming up, if you’re a local you know this means it’s boating season. Everyone knows days on the boat are fun, but we also know the downsides… Boat launch traffic, DUIs, and the most dreaded one cleaning the boat after a loooong day. Paddle Pub Daytona solves all of those concerns. It’s simple, book a trip, show up (BYOB) and hop on. Cruise the intracoastal while drinking and not having to worry about getting back in one piece. You have your own personal Captain, a bathroom on board, and a beer funnel. The best part is when you arrive abck at the dock thats it, leave your trash (no cleanup) and off you go. Successful boat day without the stress or planning.
Nothing in this section is sponsored. They're just local businesses I wanted to highlight. I'll always let you know when something's sponsored.

This weeks top seller in Flagler Beach
“This weeks top seller located jsut one block away from A1A in Flagler Beach sold for $1,350,000 after being on the market since June of 2024. It was originally listed for $1,500.000 and found a buyer 9 months later at 150k under list price. This is a more typical timeline of luxury homes due to smaller buyer pool. it’s still a good price point for the sellers considering this home doesn’t have a traditional in ground pool, but is rather equipped with a 19 foot swim spa that can replicate a current to swim against. All in all location is everything and this one checks that box for sure.” Paul Pratt with Simply Real Estate
