Best Spot for Yoga

I think we can all agree the worst part about yoga is the small, dark and sweaty studio. Call me crazy but doing yoga overlooking the ocean in the sun is much more my speed. Aum Shanti Yoga brings you the best of both worlds, awesome yoga classes and the best environment in town. You can now have excuse to go to the Hard Rock Hotel every morning at 9:30am.

The best part is all of the classes are beginner friendly as well so it is super inclusive. Once you arrive in the lobby take the elevator to the 3rd floor, go outside and make a right which brings you to the Rock Royalty Terrace. Check them out on Facebook for specialty classes and updates as well as they even offer some evening and moonlight yoga sessions as well!

Let’s be real for a second. Inflation sucks, and going out to eat shouldn’t cost an arm and a leg. Our meal deal section is here to help you enjoy going out without breaking the bank. And this local staple nails it.

This week we are Featuring Mck’s Tavern and Brewery for their daily specials. Did you know on Thursdays AND Sundays you can get a half pound burger for just $6 after 5pm? They have a ton of drink specials as well but the burger nights in my opinion are the best. Oh, I forgot to mention the sides are just an additional $1 as well. We are out here trying to fight inflation one meal deal at a time. Make it out for burger night and let me know how you like it!

“Normally we are used to seeing our top seller either on the river or ocean. This week is a little outside of the box in Halifax Plantation. This 4 bed 3 bath home came with a four car garage and over 2,800 sqft.

It was originally listed on November 1st 2024 for $924,900 and finally sold on May 21st 2025 for $840,000 after being active for five months. Nearly 85k reduced on price but the sale was made. Overall a nice home but the interior was a bit outdated as you can see more photos here.”

Everyone knows the golden rule right? When a cat is at rest let it be! Blue had a long day of climbing his cat tower and looking out the window at the Sandhill Cranes. A little bit of rain is all it took to put him down for the count.
