While not technically in Daytona, I figured this was worth a mention. Since the events in our area are a little slow this week, NSB has a wine walk on Saturday from 1-7pm. The weather should be perfect for a stroll down the avenue and you can support some local businesses as well!

If wine isn’t your thing but you’re a grilled cheese connoisseur, then you won’t want to miss this event! Try multiple samples and then vote for your favorite at the end. The event starts Sunday at 1pm on Flagler Avenue.

While we are featuring this weekends events in NSB, we might as well give you a great spot for dinner as well. One of my favorites is Cafe Verde, they are located right behind Clancy’s Cantina and have some of the best food in town.

My go to dishes are the Lemon Turmeric Grilled Mahi and the Coconut Curry, so fresh and healthy. This is a locally owned spot and has a great atmosphere for coy outdoor dining. They did a recent remodel, that takes it to a whole new level.

This weeks top sold home was on the market for just two months before it sold. Originally listed at $3.3M and closed for $2.4M cash. A massive sale $900k under list price for this riverfront home.

Still seeing more and more transactions for luxury homes in our area. This makes sense considering the same home in south Florida would be at least triple the price.

This is Gracey, and believe it or not she’s a genius. She’s just four months old and is potty trained, can sit, lay-down and shake already. Her path is going to be as a service dog helping veterans with PTSD. Talk about impressive!
