Let’s get started.

Daytona Down-low

Mystic Lobster Company is located at 100 N. Atlantic Ave.

New Seafood Franchise Opened

Mystic Lobster Company just opened its doors this past week. Located inside the Hilton hotel the franchise is trying a new market. With lobster rolls being a staple anywhere you go in Maine, it’s no wonder they are makin an effort to expand into another market who loves seafood. I’ve honestly never had a lobster roll, nor have I even seen one on a menu down here. However being in the Hilton Hotel I’m sure they will be capitalizing on a lot of tourists who are from the northeast and are accustomed to the rolls. What do you think, will lobster rolls be a new staple for locals? Or just another franchise targeted towards tourists.

Business Highlight

PopStroke is located at 1283 Cornerstone Blvd

Date Night

PopStroke is the ultimate date spot. Not only do you have two mini golf courses to choose from, but you also can play ping pong, corn-hole and enjoy drinks at the bar. Nothing worse than hitting it off on a date and having to change locations if you go over on time. At PopStroke there is always something to do. It wraps up all date activities into one outing. And the food is actually pretty solid as well. Also there are a ton of TVs at the outside bar as well, so even if you just want to watch some sports with friends this is the place to be. I was skeptical at first but it is definitely worth the hype.

Nothing in this section is sponsored. They're just local businesses I wanted to highlight. I'll always let you know when something's sponsored.

1778 John Anderson Drive

Top Sold Home of the Week

“The riverfront home pictured above at 1778 John Anderson was the top seller this week. Sold at a price of $1,655,000 (listed at $1,749,000) it was sold in under 60 days. This is atypical for luxury real estate. Usually higher ticket homes take a lot longer to sell due to the purchasing pool being much smaller. And Just in general the average home is taking 120 days to sell, so this is an anomaly. However, the property is beautifully equipped with a fire-pit, freeform pool, extended dock, and covered bar.” Courtesy of Paul Pratt with Simply Real Estate
