Zanzibar Blu

This is a spot for locals you have to check out. Am I breaking the rules of the speakeasy by talking about it? Oh well, secret is out and if you want a fun night out with great atmosphere and music Zanzibar Blu is the place to be.

They are open Thursday-Sunday only and open at 7:30 except on Sunday doors open an hour earlier at 6:30. Aside from the cool owners you can guarantee the music will be too. Every night there will be blues, jazz, r&b or reggae. The one thing I won’t tell you, is how to get in. The secret entrance is a part of the fun.

Alright, mark your calendar for Tuesday! That is the day every week that Kale Cafe offers their delicious veggie burger for just $5. It is a fully vegan menu, yet the burgers are amazing and favored by local non-vegans as well. They are very filling too so be sure to bring your appetite.

Rocky is our boy this week, and he loves the beach as a Florida dog should. But he is not quite sure about the waves just yet. Maybe in time he will learn to love them.
