Locally Owned Health Cafe

If you haven’t been yet, now is the time to go! The Porch is a locally owned health café run by two of the coolest people around—Colby and Jen—who pour their hearts into every detail. Their menu features Acai bowls, smoothies, boba tea, kombucha, sandwiches, freshly made muffins, and coffee—and they NEVER miss. My personal favorite is the Porch Bowl, and I always add their house-made peanut butter (it’s the best around). With warmer weather creeping in, The Porch has everything you need to feel good and refreshed. After a walk along the Riverfront Esplanade park grab a healthy snack here, you will not regret it.

Baseball is back!

We’ve had some incredible weather the past few weeks, but now we have more reasons to get outside to enjoy it. The Tortugas kickoff their season opener this Friday at 6:35pm. Make sure to stay for a bit after the game to see the fireworks display, it’s just as good if not better than 4th of July fireworks over the river. If you can’t make the Friday game they also play at home Saturday and Sunday. In our weekend events section I have all of the games and times posted for you.
