DAYTONA DOWN-LOW

Last Week of Home Games

Home Game at Jackie Robinson Ballpark

If you haven’t had a chance to make it out to a game this year, now is your chance! Tuesday through Sunday there will be a game EVERY night so make sure to get out there. Keep in mind Wednesday night is belly buster night where you can, for $19 (ticket included), get all you can eat hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza and popcorn! Bring your appetite if you go on Wednesday.

Don’t forget to try any of the local restaurants off beach street that are a walkable distance to the ballpark if the belly buster night isn’t your cup of tea. I would recommend Zen Bistro, Mcks or Ichi Ni San. Hope the weather stays clear and everyone gets out to game as we close out the season!

LOCAL BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT

$16 Breakfast Buffet!

Beaches Daytona is located at 301 E International Speedway Blvd, Daytona Beach

Chick-fil-A is closed on Sundays as we all know. that doesn’t mean you have to skip breakfast. For $16 have an all you can eat breakfast at Beaches Daytona. They had me at the omelette station and breakfast potatoes. Considering how much a meal out costs now why not make it all you can eat?

I recently made a breakfast order at a local spot in Daytona and my two eggs, potatoes and side of fruit was $13 before tip. Just saying I know where I will be going for breakfast on Sundays. Check them out on Facebook as they often host live events as well!

REAL ESTATE CORNER

Top Sold Home

208 Dune Circle, New Smyrna Beach

This weeks top seller is a modern pool home on beachside in New Smyrna. It was listed on March 15th for $1.59M and just sold last week for $1.14M at a discount of over 400k off the purchase price!

Such a unique home for our area giving a modern industrial feel with a touch of the tropics as well. Check out more photos and details here at this link!

PET OF THE WEEK

Domesticated vs Wild

Rosie encounters a Tortoise

This is one of the favorite sections of the newsletter. Every week I receive pet photo submissions and have to pick a winner and it’s not easy. Send in your photos (by replying to this email) for a chance to have your pet featured next week!

This week was an interesting run in for this pet red footed tortoise named Rosie! She was out enjoying the pool-deck when a wild tortoise wandered into the screened in patio. They had a tiny moment of interest before the wild tortoise took off. Looks like Rosie can hold her own!

Will you be going to a Tortugas game during their final week of the season?!
