DAYTONA DOWN-LOW

100 year world tour

TOMORROW at the Ocean Center at 7pm

Celebrating 100 years of the Harlem Globetrotters as they are on their world tour. If you don’t have plans tomorrow night make sure to grab some tickets.

Even if you aren’t a basketball fan, this is entertainment for the entire family. I’d say if you’ve ever seen the Savannah Bananas baseball game it’s in the same fun spirit.

Wine Time

Saturday 1-5pm!

This Saturday is a great time to get out on Beach Street and visit some of the local businesses that are participating in the wine walk. Pop in to sample some wine and cheeses and explore more of the local community. I personally think it’s a great way to get more exposure to our local businesses.

There will be plenty of free parking on the west side of beach street, and two check-in locations to get your tickets. See you Saturday!

LOCAL BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT

Acai Bowls

Solberry is located at 231 E Granada Blvd, Ormond Beach

I’ve found the perfect spot pre and post beach, and that is Solberry located just across A1A from the beach. I don’t know about you, but on a beach day I hate feeling too full. So my go to has been Solberry for one of their acai bowls. I always get their home made peanut butter on top too it’s truly a staple.

They are located in the same plaza as Larrys Giant Subs and Margarita Island. There are a ton of great local businesses in this plaza but I frequent this the most. If you haven’t tried it yet pop by the next time you’re on beachside!

REAL ESTATE CORNER

1795 Earhart Ct,Β Port Orange

This weeks top sold home was in the Spruce Creek Fly-In community. A neighborhood known for its massive hangar estates. This home was listed for $2.4M back in March of 2025 and sold last week for $1.87M after 9 months on the market.

It really does take a while to find a buyer for not only a home in the price range, but also in that size. Not only does it have over 5,000 sqft, but also has it’s own airplane hangar. So, not a lot of people in the buying pool in general have a plane. But if they do, this is where they end up.

PET(s) OF THE WEEK

This is one of the favorite sections of the newsletter. Every week I receive pet photo submissions and have to pick a winner and it’s not easy. Send in your photos (by replying to this email) for a chance to have your pet featured next week!

We’ve got a standoff this week, sometimes the photos are cute and sometimes they are very serious! Who do you think won this staring competition? Would you blink?
