DAYTONA DOWN-LOW

Annual Boat Parade!
This years annual boat parade is already here! If you haven’t been before it’s a great time to get out and relax along the water to view, and the weather should be a bit chilly so definitely bring a jacket.
The best places to view are anywhere along the Halifax between Ormond and Daytona. Specifically, the parade will be passing Caribbean Jacks, the basin of the Halifax Yacht Club and Daytona Beach Fire Department, and through the basins of the Freedom Boat Club and Mama Foo Foo. Get out there and enjoy some/food and drink as you watch the parade!
NOTE: The parade will NOT be going by the Chart House this year.

LOCAL BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT

Dancing Avocao Kitchen is located at 110 S Beach St, Daytona Beach
Would you have guess that these Hawaiian Garlic Shrimp tacos (or bowl option) are served for dinner at Dancing Avocado Kitchen? Me neither. Earlier this year they reopened after a brief hiatus and added a dinner menu. I wrote about it here in case you missed the article.
Needless to say, they STILL went under my radar. Until last week when I stopped by for a meal and it was absolutely perfect. Clean ingredients and avoided that familiar (too full to move feeling) we’ve all experienced.
The only catch is they are open for dinner Thursday-Saturday until 8pm! So If you want a fresh and healthy early dinner, make sure to stop by and let me know how you like it!
REAL ESTATE CORNER

100 La Toscana Rotonda, Ormond Beach
This weeks top sold home is situated on a one acre lot, has a pool and was constructed this year. The home was listed for $1.6M on August 26th and sold last week just shy of the original asking price for $1.55M in cash.
Another luxury home that sold in just over 3 months is pretty astounding. We are still seeing the luxury market pickup some speed this past year.
The interior on this one is beautiful so if you want to see more photos/info click here

PET OF THE WEEK

Bridget
This is one of the favorite sections of the newsletter. Every week I receive pet photo submissions and have to pick a winner and it’s not easy. Send in your photos (by replying to this email) for a chance to have your pet featured next week!
Our featured pet this week is Bridget, who looks like she was interrupted during this photo. You got to love the candid pet photos. It’s a fair game though, because she (Bridget) likes to bring toys to her owner in the middle of the night to get the same reaction from her. Karma is real!
