DAYTONA DOWN-LOW

Art vendors along Beach Street
This weekend taking place on Saturday and Sunday will be the Halifax Art Festival. It will span from Orange Avenue to Bay Street along Beach Street. FYI the road will be shutdown for foot traffic only, so If you’re driving on Beach Street plan for a detour.
The event is free to attend and there is a ton of free parking available as well. Make sure to try one of downtowns local restaurants when you get hungry. Some of my favorites are The Porch Health Bar, Zen Bistro, Kale Cafe and Macker Seafood. Saturday the festival runs from 9-5pm and Sunday it runs 10-4pm, see you there!
Will you be attending the art festival?
LOCAL BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT
Meal Deal $8 Cuban Sandwiches

Cafe Con Leche is located at 2761 S Ridgewood Ave, Daytona Beach
Looking for some of the most authentic latin food? Well Cafe Con Leche just may be your new spot! One of my go to spots for their Mexican style tacos as well as the empanadas. But overall, everything I’ve had their has been excellent and the owners are super friendly.
The main highlight this week in our meal deal section is the $8 cuban sandwiches on Tuesdays. With the cost of fast food these days, why not get an authentic meal made locally at a great price? Be sure to stop by today, or any other Tuesday.
Don’t forget to follow them on Facebook here.
REAL ESTATE CORNER
Top Sold Home

3592 Grande Tuscany Way, New Smyrna Beach
This weeks top sold home is located in New Smyrna Beaches own Tuscany Reserve section of the Venetian Bay development. This is a unique home in the sense that its location is very different to our other top sellers.
The home was originally listed in June for $1.65M and sold last week in October for $1.44M. So we have a home selling at a top price, that is nowhere near the ocean or the river, and it sold relatively fast for a luxury home in just 4 months. With over 4,600 sqft and 4 bedrooms and 4 baths this has all the space you’d need.

Home insurance rates up by 76% in some states
Over the last 6 years, home insurance rates have increased by up to 76% in some states. Between inflation, costlier repairs, and extreme weather, premiums are climbing fast – but that doesn’t mean you have to overpay. Many homeowners are saving hundreds a year by switching providers.
