DAYTONA DOWN-LOW

Food Truck Night off Magnolia

Downtown Daytona Nights

Every first Friday of the month we have downtown Daytona nights! This consists of a market, art-walk, and (as seen above) food trucks from 5-9pm. It’s a great way to start off the summer as it is equally kid and adult friendly.

The best part about the event is all three sectors are close together so once you park your car you are good for the entire night. Downtown Beach St has been growing for the better the past few years, and events like this help bring more people to see the changes. While you’re down there check out the improvements along the river at the newly finished Riverfront Esplanade.

BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT

DAK is Located at 110 S Beach St

DAK Is Back!

One of Downtown Daytonas staples is finally back! Earlier in the year Dancing Avocado Kitchen shut their doors due to some economic challenges, but have had a new resurgence in the past few weeks. This was one of my go-to spots for breakfast and lunch, plus the owner and staff were so kind.

The new and updated version of DAK also comes with new hours! They have decided to add a dinner menu and are open everyday except Sunday/Monday from 11:30-3pm for lunch and 5pm-8:30 for dinner. It is so good to have a local spot back in action, and I am planning on checking it out for dinner this week. Stay up to date on specials and hours on their Facebook!

REAL ESTATE CORNER

119 Beach St Ponce Inlet

Top Sold Home

“This weeks top sold home is again in Ponce Inlet, one of our most sought after communities. This 4bed 4bath pool home was originally listed for sale just two months ago on April 2nd for $1,295,000 and just sold June 2nd for $1,210,000.

That is a very quick turnaround for a property at that price and even sold very close to list. Location is always key, if you want more photos and details click this link.”

PET OF THE WEEK

Ollie getting ready to land one!

Labs Like to Fish

This is one the favorite sections of the newsletter. Every week I receive pet photo submissions and have to pick a winner and it’s not easy. Send in your photos for a chance to have your pet featured next week!

Our good pal Ollie loves to fish! Right now he is ready for either a bass, bream or catfish. The retriever blood is strong in this pup. Two things Labs love is the water and to fetch, Ollie fits right into that stereotype 100%
