So this is a pretty cool event, if you want the official British high tea experience. Once a month at the River Lily Inn Bed & Breakfast they put on a high tea lunch! It is on Sunday from 2-4pm.

BBQ Time

This Saturday, if you’re a BBQ lover, there is an event tailored just for you. A Saturday BBQ and Bacon Fest. the weather should be sunny and warm this weekend too, so it will be the perfect day to have some food and play games by the river. A very kid friendly event as well!

A Legendary Spot Comes to Downtown

The Daytona staple Mr. Dunderbaks will be relocating to Beach St! Everyone should know this Bavarian style restaurant from the Volusia Mall, but as things have slowed down they are moving shop.

Right across the street from the new location is the Riverfront Esplanade a multi-million dollar upgrade from the Cici and Hyatt Brown family. Which has rose gardens, a track, gated security and pavilions and kids parks and a splash pad. I think this will be great for their business moving to where the city seems to be coming back to life.

Top Sold Home

This weeks top sold home was designed by local architect Kevin Schweizer in 2012. The back deck is the foothold of the home in my opinion. This home was lsited in July of 2025 for just under $1.9M and sold last week at $1.7M

This has the perfect amount of old Florida charm on the river. Location wise it is pretty close to the inlet, so a prime spot for someone who loves to fish.
