DAYTONA DOWN-LOW

TEA TIME

River Lily Inn is located at 558 Riverside Dr, Daytona Beach,

So this is a pretty cool event, if you want the official British high tea experience. Once a month at the River Lily Inn Bed & Breakfast they put on a high tea lunch! It is on Sunday from 2-4pm.

Be sure to check them out this weekend to book your slot. For more info click here

BBQ Time

@ Riverwalk Park (By Tiki Docks)

This Saturday, if you’re a BBQ lover, there is an event tailored just for you. A Saturday BBQ and Bacon Fest. the weather should be sunny and warm this weekend too, so it will be the perfect day to have some food and play games by the river. A very kid friendly event as well!

LOCAL BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT

A Legendary Spot Comes to Downtown

New location will be 116 N. Beach St

The Daytona staple Mr. Dunderbaks will be relocating to Beach St! Everyone should know this Bavarian style restaurant from the Volusia Mall, but as things have slowed down they are moving shop.

Right across the street from the new location is the Riverfront Esplanade a multi-million dollar upgrade from the Cici and Hyatt Brown family. Which has rose gardens, a track, gated security and pavilions and kids parks and a splash pad. I think this will be great for their business moving to where the city seems to be coming back to life.

REAL ESTATE CORNER

Top Sold Home

101 Azalea Circle, New Smyrna Beach

This weeks top sold home was designed by local architect Kevin Schweizer in 2012. The back deck is the foothold of the home in my opinion. This home was lsited in July of 2025 for just under $1.9M and sold last week at $1.7M

This has the perfect amount of old Florida charm on the river. Location wise it is pretty close to the inlet, so a prime spot for someone who loves to fish.

PET OF THE WEEK

Husky Love

Ammo is back

This is one of the favorite sections of the newsletter. Every week I receive pet photo submissions and have to pick a winner and it’s not easy. Send in your photos (by replying to this email) for a chance to have your pet featured next week!

Last week, we had two photos of Ammo submitted. And they were both impossible to pass up. So, he’s back for round two loving on his little stuffed Husky.

What investment is rudimentary for billionaires but β€˜revolutionary’ for 70,571+ investors entering 2026?

Imagine this. You open your phone to an alert. It says, β€œyou spent $236,000,000 more this month than you did last month.”

If you were the top bidder at Sotheby’s fall auctions, it could be reality.

Sounds crazy, right? But when the ultra-wealthy spend staggering amounts on blue-chip art, it’s not just for decoration.

The scarcity of these treasured artworks has helped drive their prices, in exceptional cases, to thin-air heights, without moving in lockstep with other asset classes.

The contemporary and post war segments have even outpaced the S&P 500 overall since 1995.*

Now, over 70,000 people have invested $1.2 billion+ across 500 iconic artworks featuring Banksy, Basquiat, Picasso, and more.

How? You don’t need Medici money to invest in multimillion dollar artworks with Masterworks.

Thousands of members have gotten annualized net returns like 14.6%, 17.6%, and 17.8% from 26 sales to date.
