Food Trucks and Riverfront Market

Every first Friday of the month mark your calendars for the food truck night! Starting at 5pm at the intersection of Beach St and Magnolia Ave they shut down the street and have a food truck block party with music as well. See you this Friday!

Also, after or before you get your share of food truck night be sure to stop by the Riverfront Market. It will also be open at 5pm and features a ton of great local vendors that have everything from fresh baked bread to handmade crafts and clothes.

The First Friday of every month in downtown Daytona is perfect for locals. A great way to enjoy the park, have some food, and support local businesses!

Meal Deal

Everyone seems to love the meal deal section lately. So this week we are showcasing a solid special in Dahlia Mexican Kitchen. On Fridays kids eat free, with the purcahse of an adult entree (Dine in only). We know it can be hard on the wallet to go out to eat with the kids all the time, so Dahlia has a solution for you!

If you haven’t been to Dahlia yet I highly recommend checking them out for some great Mexican food. They also have a location off Dunlawton in Port Orange as well. To see ALL of their weekly specials click here.

REAL ESTATE CORNER

Top Sold Home

This weeks top sold home brings us a bit south of New Smyrna down to Edgewater. Not surprisingly the home is riverfront, but it is on the smaller side comparatively for the price.

The home was listed at $2.99M back in may and just sold this week for $2.73M. This is wasn’t on the market too long considering the price range. We are used to seeing luxury homes sit a bit longer on the market. The home itself isn’t too big (3/3 2,754 sqft) but the lot/landscaping have been well put together.

PET OF THE WEEK

This is one of the favorite sections of the newsletter. Every week I receive pet photo submissions and have to pick a winner and it’s not easy. Send in your photos (by replying to this email) for a chance to have your pet featured next week!

This weeks pet is Wallace the cat! In his free time he loves bird watching, and being outside tied up to his leash. This photo shows how focused he is on the swarm of birds overhead, and how much he wants to get off his leash to “play” with them.
