DAYTONA DOWN-LOW
Bike Week

Bike Week on Main Street
As we all know, Bike Week is one of our busiest weeks of the year. Even for those who don’t ride, there is still a ton to do. Live music is at an all time high this week/weekend. If you want to just wing it, I would say go check out Main Street Station in Daytona as the live bands there are usually very good. And most of the venues on main street will have live music as well. I would recommend finding off site parking or taking an uber though.
If Main Street is a little to cramped for you, there is always the iconic Cabbage Patch in New Smyrna. They have a more open setup and tons of outdoor vendors, and it’s much easier to find parking for those driving in cars. And yes, they will be having their famous coleslaw wrestling competition at 1pm on Saturday. Warning, wouldn’t say it’s exactly a kid friendly show.
Food Truck Night

This Friday at 5pm
And we are back, since it is the first Friday of the month, with food truck night! This is always a great time, as Magnolia in downtown Daytona is lined with a ton of food trucks starting at 5pm.
After you get some food, I always recommend walking along the Riverfront Esplanade as the views around sunset are beautiful. You can also peep the new construction on the Daytona Tortugas stadium.
LOCAL BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT
Playabowls Daytona
Matcha Berry Smoothie
This week we are shouting out Playabowls in Daytona. They are right next door to Cava and make some very good smoothies and acai bowls
This month 3/3-4/3 they are having what is called “Matcha Mania”, which they are infusing smoothies and select bowls with their matcha powder. I ended up going with the matcha berry smoothie and it was delicious. With the warmer weather you should definitely stop in for a refresher!
REAL ESTATE CORNER
Top Sold Home

4461 S Atlantic Ave, Ponce Inlet
This weeks top sold home, I know it’s a shocker, is in Ponce Inlet again. With a beachfront location, it’s really hard to beat. The home was listed on January 5th for $2.39M and sold just last week for $2.2M. this is still a pretty quick sale (less than 2 months on the market) for being at the +2M range.
We are seeing an uptick of luxury homes being sold in our area, and they are selling at a quicker rate than in previous years. What are your thoughts? Has the secret of our town got out?

PET OF THE WEEK

This is one of the favorite sections of the newsletter. Every week I receive pet photo submissions and have to pick a winner and it’s not easy. Send in your photos (by replying to this email) for a chance to have your pet featured next week!
This weeks pet is actually more of a community pet. If you ever go to Cracker Creek in Port Orange to canoe or kayak you will see some beautiful peacocks running around out there!
