4th of July Bash

Daytona Bandshell Concert Venue
The question this 4th of July is simple (What do you have planned?). But the answers are many. Let’s start off with option A the Eagles Tribute band playing at the Bandshell at 7pm, followed by fireworks over the pier. So option A is you get great music, fireworks and a setting right by the ocean. This will be hard to beat but the next choice isn’t bad at all either.
Option B, we have the Port Orange City Center Spectacular which of course will include fireworks, among an extensive list of classic activities. Not only will there be live music, but there will also be a watermelon eating contest, pie bake-off, bike races, beer tent, lawn games and more. So if you have a very active family or group of friends this might be your best bet. Hope to see you out at either one!
BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT
Stay cool, and have fun!

Daytona Ice Arena is Located at 2400 S Ridgewood Ave
It’s no secret that living in florida during summertime can be brutal. And if we’re not at the beach or on the boat, we’re blasting our car AC to the max, just trying to take refuge from the sun. So why not have a little fun while staying cool? I’m not sure if I’m the only one who forgot that we have an ice rink here in Daytona.
Nothing better than popping in to Daytona Ice Arena for a public skate sesh to have some fun while taking a break from sweating. Check their calendar as every day for 1.5-2 hours they have it blocked off from hockey and figure skating for public skating. If you haven’t been, or don’t know how yet, it’s also a great place to learn as they have instructors and kids classes!
REAL ESTATE CORNER
Top Sold Home

1616 S Peninsula in Daytona Beach
“No shocker here, our top seller is a waterfront home on over an acre. It was originally listed for $2.9M three months ago in March and Sold for just a hair over $2M last week. So its sold for nearly $1M less than asking price. They didn’t do any price drops prior to the home going under contract, so this is atypical unless they found some issues in their inspection.
Nonetheless another beautiful waterfront home with classic styling on a very nice sized lot. Click here for more photos and details.”
